So I decided to be a nice dad and book a hotel down the cape for a night. I even brought my wife and kids along. If you don’t know the cape (Cape Cod) there isn’t a whole lot to do in the winter besides drink and shoot up (huge problem apparently). With those not being family friendly activities, I made sure to select a nice place with a pool. Off season rates are low so it was a cheap getaway. We show up and go to use the pool right as maintenance is fishing out a turd log. The staff was great and actually sent us 5 minutes up the road to another sister hotel. They even offered to refund us. Overall it wasn’t that bad. This afternoon we took a walk along the canal
